Winds of Change in the Footwear Industry:
AYMAKOOP Leads the Way
Aymakoop: The Footwear Center
AYMAKOOP is taking significant steps towards progress in retail trade by adapting to the transformation in the sector. Having operated as a production and wholesale center for many years, AYMAKOOP now aims to achieve the final touches. AYMAKOOP's marketing has paved the way for this by encouraging the expansion of retail stores. In an interview conducted by Lonca Business Network Media Platform, Aymakoop Chairman Murat Göl stated, "I was also active in the wholesale sector, but I wanted to guide retail trade. We made announcements and advertisements on social media. When a significant interest was generated in a short time, other business owners also started opening stores."
Emphasis is placed on promotion, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, to attract the last tourist to AYMAKOOP. The management is investing in digital marketing and social media advertising, as well as flyers, to increase retail customers. Murat Göl said, "Our members conduct wholesale sales here with their showrooms. We want to transform this area into a trade fair atmosphere. Our goal is to further integrate retail and wholesale trade into AYMAKOOP. AYMAKOOP is becoming not only a production center but also a shoe center where the heart of trade is broken."
