STRONG MESSAGE OF “STABILITY” FROM THE FOOTWEAR SUB-INDUSTRY DESPITE CHALLENGING GLOBAL CONDITIONS: AYSAF OPENS ON APRIL 21

The heart of the footwear sub-industry will beat in Istanbul on April 21. Despite global economic fluctuations and challenging market conditions, the 74th AYSAF (International Footwear Sub-Industry Fair) will bring together industry stakeholders with a strong commitment to maintaining continuity in production and exports.

Organized by the Footwear Industrialists Association of Turkey (AYSAD), the 74th AYSAF is preparing to open its doors under challenging global circumstances. Starting on April 21, the fair will once again showcase Türkiye’s manufacturing expertise, design strength, and reliability in the supply chain to the international arena.

Highlighting the realities of the current global climate and the resilience of the sector, AYSAD Chairman Sait Salıcı stated:

As a sector, we are fully aware of geopolitical tensions and economic pressures. However, preserving Türkiye’s production strength and keeping export channels open is more critical than ever.

In this context, the 74th AYSAF is not only a trade platform but also a strong representation of our sector’s resilience and stability in the face of these challenges. Despite regional risks, we are determined to maintain our share in global markets with our design capabilities and fast supply advantages. We firmly believe that this fair will foster new collaborations and provide a much-needed boost to our industry.”

A Fair Focused on Professional Transformation and Efficiency

This year, the fair will open with a concept focused on product quality, responding to the sector’s need for cost management and efficiency. The 74th AYSAF will highlight participants’ design and R&D capabilities while leveraging the advantages of nearshoring to bring together buyers from Europe and neighboring regions in Istanbul.
